Autumn of 2004
Dear family and friends of The Narrow Way Ministry,
Greetings from Nashville, Tennessee! We are presently between the ASI Convention in Cincinnati, Ohio and a concert weekend in Dayton, Tennessee with a few days to be with Claudia’s family during the week. The ASI Convention afforded us many opportunities to meet old friends from around the world, literally, to make new ones, and to network with others who are sharing Christ through ministry and in the marketplace. Through these conventions more doorways continue to open for us to witness for Jesus Christ, for which we give Him praise.
While explaining to one guest at my booth the nature of my ministry, I shared the commitment I had made to the Lord, that I would go wherever invited to speak for Him, trusting the Lord to provide the way. It was then that he told me about the great need in India where he was working, and that I should come and conduct an evangelistic campaign there. India is a country of around 1 Billion in population, and it seems to be wide open right now to the gospel of Jesus Christ. Thousands upon thousands of Hindus are turning from their heathen ways and giving their hearts to Jesus Christ, bringing to my mind His own words, “The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.” (Matthew 9:37,38)
My guest told me that $2,000.00 would cover all my costs to and from India for such a campaign, and then said, “You are officially invited to India. Call me when you are ready to go.” With a smile he gave me his card, turned and walked away. He happened to be the director of Evangelism in India, and he was dead serious about my going. Now I am committed to doing so, as soon as I can raise the funds.
So, I am making this invitation known to you in the event that you might be interested in helping sponsor this outreach opportunity for me in India, and that you would make it a matter of prayer.
Radio Ministry: Our radio ministry through KCGS AM 960 in Marshall, Arkansas continues to broadcast the 3 Angels’ Messages 7 days a week, night and day, over a radius of up to 80 miles all around Marshall in north central Arkansas. Our program, “The Sure Word of Prophecy,” is just one of many of these Seventh-day Adventist evangelistic programs. The feedback is very positive, and we praise the Lord for this medium to reach out to others for Him.
Recently, a lady drove all the way from Branson, Missouri, (about 80 miles away), just to talk to our station staff about our outreach. She had bought 7 radios, one for each room of her house, so that she could always be tuned in to our signal. “This station has become my church,” she said. “How can we get a better signal in Branson and Springfield, Missouri?” she asked. She told how she had called the gospel stations in her area advising them to tune in to KCGS to hear what a gospel station should sound like. “If you can do that kind of programming, then I’ll start listening to your station,” she told them.
She went on to say how much she appreciated the straight forward preaching that we broadcast. “You folks aren’t afraid to preach the truth, even though it may not be popular. I really like that.” She then told how she had ordered all this wonderful material from places like Amazing Facts. She had accepted the Sabbath and was excited to discover that we were Seventh-day Adventists. She was also looking into real estate in our area just in case she had to move to Marshall to get a better radio signal.
As we continue to sow the seeds of truth through our radio ministry, we trust that there will someday be a rich harvest. All indications are that there certainly will be. Most of our Adventist programming, however, is not yet sponsored, and this lack of financial support does create a serious burden for our radio ministry. Perhaps you would like to adopt a program or a fraction of one on a monthly basis. We would be delighted with your participation.
The following is a list of our Seventh-day Adventist programming either partially sponsored or non-sponsored: (Air time costs $1.00 per minute)

Romania: The needs in Romania remain great, if not urgent. Since young Gyuszi (the Bible Worker coordinator) was taken last year by a malignant brain tumor, the work in Transylvania has fallen heavily upon his widow Marika. I was there for a visit in March and want to assure you that she is determined to carry on in her husband’s absence. She is very capable and very dedicated. The Bible Worker program and Pastor Jenci are very dependent upon support coming through The Narrow Way Ministry for their continued ability to carry on the work of lay evangelism and church planting in the unentered towns and villages of Transylvania. The everlasting gospel must be preached “to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people.” “And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.” (Revelation 14:6; Matthew 24:14)
Please do not forget these dedicated workers in your prayers and support. And we want to express our sincere gratitude to those of you who consistently offer your assistance to this evangelistic endeavor.
CDs & Books: Our Marimba/Piano CD and Tape project, “A Perfect Day”, continues to be well received. Through this venture we endeavor to help people appreciate “the beauty of holiness.” Through our book project, “That Kind Can Never Change! Can They…?”, we attempt to help people see that if God can save someone like Ron Woolsey, He can save anyone. This branch of ministry, in conjunction with our Web Site, www.victorjadamson.com, is successfully reaching out to those whom some would class as “unreachables”, helping to restore them to new life in Christ.
The Narrow Way Ministry: In addition to my ministry to the local church as a stipend pastor, our family has become very busy with speaking engagements and musical concerts over the past year and a half in churches, schools, camps, retreats, conferences and camp meetings around the country. We are away from home about 2 weeks out of the month now sharing the message that our God is mighty to save, the “whosoevers” from “whatsoever” even “to the uttermost.” Since this past spring we have had engagements in Oklahoma, Ohio, Iowa, Virginia, Michigan, Illinois, and Tennessee, as well as here in Arkansas and have bookings well into next year.
Samuel Koranteng-Pipim made arrangements in June for us to share our music and message at the Michigan Conference Camp Meeting. We were very impressed and blessed by the highly spiritual atmosphere, music, and messages of that week in Michigan. While there I was asked if I would be willing to address Andrews University from the perspective of my personal testimony. Those arrangements have yet to be made, however. But I am willing and ready to go upon confirmation of the appointment.
While in Chicago a few weeks ago I had the privilege of once again being interviewed on “Prime Time”, a talk show on the Moody Bible Institute Radio Network. My testimony was broadcast over about 315 stations nationwide with interesting results.
One listening couple checked out our Web Site and discovered that I was going to be having a speaking engagement in their vicinity, (50 miles away). The morning of our engagement, the husband called the local pastor to confirm that “Victor J. Adamson” was going to be speaking at his church that evening. The Pastor said, “No. I’m sorry, but Ron Woolsey is going to be having a concert here this evening.”
Confused but not deterred, the husband did an Internet search on “Victor J. Adamson” and eventually discovered that Ron and “Victor” were one and the same, “Victor” being my pen name. He then called back to the pastor saying that he had discovered that they both were referring to the same person and asked for more information about our engagement there at the church. He was then told about the Bible Study time at 9:30 and the worship service at 11:00.
“You mean just before midnight…?” he asked, knowing of the evening concert.
“No. Saturday morning,” the pastor replied. “The concert will be in the evening.”
He immediately awakened his wife who had gotten to bed at 5:00AM for some reason, telling her about the morning meetings and that they had to just get up and go, which they did. They were dealing with some serious issues in their extended family and desperately wanted to talk to someone who had had a victorious experience with these same issues.
We spent the day with this delightful young couple, all of us recognizing that God had gone to great lengths to bring us together. They shared how they had grown up in Catholicism, studied their way out of that, joined the Baptist Church, studied their way out of that, and now attended a non-denominational church where they felt more freedom to study for themselves and to live according to their beliefs.
“Actually,” they said, “we are very interested in the Seventh-day Adventist Church. What you folks believe makes sense and is in agreement with the Bible.”
They left late that night much encouraged, and we left praising the Lord for His working in our lives to bring us across the path of these dear, young, searching people.
We continue to thank the Lord for the opportunities that are opening up for us to witness for Him, to do our little part in the worldwide work of carrying the gospel to every nation, kindred, tongue, and people. For we overcome the accuser of our brethren, (Satan), “by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of [our] testimony.” (Rev. 12:11)
If you are interested in our visiting your area, please contact us by phone, fax, email, or snail mail. We would be happy to make arrangements to come to your church to share God’s Word through message, music and testimony.
May God continue to bless and keep you,
Ron Woolsey
P.S. Since beginning this newsletter in Nashville, summer has lapsed into autumn, another year is quickly passing into the annals of history, reminding me that we are another year closer to the coming of Jesus in the clouds of glory.
“The days in which we live are solemn and important. The Spirit of God is gradually but surely being withdrawn from the earth. Plagues and judgments are already falling upon the despisers of the grace of God. The calamities by land and sea, the unsettled state of society, the alarms of war, are portentous. They forecast approaching events of the greatest magnitude. The agencies of evil are combining their forces, and consolidating. They are strengthening for the last great crisis. Great changes are soon to take place in our world, and the final movements will be rapid ones.”—Testimonies, vol. 9, p. 11.
“The time is at hand when there will be sorrow in the world that no human balm can heal. The Spirit of God is being withdrawn. Disasters by sea and by land follow one another in quick succession. (Hurricanes Charlie, Frances, Ivan, Jeanne…?) How frequently we hear of earthquakes and tornadoes, of destruction by fire and flood, with great loss of life and property! Apparently these calamities are capricious outbreaks of disorganized, unregulated forces of nature, wholly beyond the control of man; but in them all, God’s purpose may be read. They are among the agencies by which He seeks to arouse men and women to a sense of their danger.” —Prophets and Kings, p. 277.
May we keep looking up, knowing that our redemption draweth nigh.
